Winter Shivers

(coat: Ailanto, scarf: Kate Spade, shoes: Steve Madden, hat: Yankees, bag: Yoox.com)

Finally! A blog post after another long hiatus. And basically... this is what happened.
1. Back to school
2. Immediate overload of homework and projects
3. Number 2 continued
4. Sales season shopping and scoring the best deals ever!
5. Spending way too much money. Must. be. stopped.
6. See Number 2 and 3
7. Celebrating Chinese New Year
8. Other bits and pieces

Took these pictures on the recent outing with friends, and finally carried my camera out due to a 2D homework... and managed to capture a few outfit pictures. We went to Soho to eat brunch at Buvette, and dessert at Sweet Revenge. The original plan of going to the Museum at FIT failed, so we ended up shopping along Broadway. And holy moly was it cold yesterday. I pretty much regretted my coat choice all day, and blamed the weather network for it. However, I definitely do not regret buying this Ailanto coat. Love the oversized fit (since it's not my size..), the lovely color, and the length. Though the length does make me look like a dwarf without heels ... but eh, I kinda like the awkwardness of the length. And let's not forget the super sweet deal I scored on this coat! Will try to make a haul post soon!

Off to the Chinese New Year Parade now! :)
